Welcome to the Glass Slipper Ball featuring the Best of the Chefs!

This Premier Chef Event is a Magical Evening of Food, Wine, Live Music, Dancing and Fairy Tales come true! The Glass Slipper Ball featuring the Best of the Chefs is designed to build Awareness and Funding for effective, grass roots Women’s Initiatives providing Education Opportunities for Women and Girls and keeping them safe, happy and healthy.

Since its inception in 2004, The Glass Slipper Ball featuring the Best of the Chefs has raised over a Million Dollars across the US in cities like Pittsburgh, Houston, Detroit, Colorado Springs, and Naples. Funds have created Education Awards for Single Mothers, encouraged Girls to Stay in School and provided Assistance to those suffering needlessly from Obstetric Fistula or the spread of AIDS through systematic rape.

The Glass Slipper Ball featuring the Best of the Chefs provides Critical Visibility, Increased Awareness and Beneficial Relationships, greatly improving the chances for success of organizations who are on the front lines working hard to combat such atrocities as Human Trafficking, Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault, and Female Genital Mutilation.

Critically acclaimed Chefs in every city have hailed The Glass Slipper Ball as the best “foodie fundraiser” they’ve ever supported. Participating chefs return year after year with incredible enthusiasm, creativity and a passion to support women’s causes locally and globally.

In one truly Magical Night, The Glass Slipper Ball combines the Best Efforts of Chefs, Florists, Musicians, Volunteers, and Sponsors to transform the lives of women and their dependents.

You make a Living by what you Get,
You make a Life by what you Give.

- Winston Churchill

“We hope to recruit you to join an incipient movement
to emancipate women and fight global poverty
by unlocking women’s power as economic catalysts.
That is a process under way—not a drama
of victimization but of empowerment,
the kind that transform bubbly teenage girls
from brothel slaves into successful businesswomen…
It is change that is already taking place,
and change that can accelerate if you’ll
open your heart and join in.”

- – Nicholas D. Kristoff and Sheryl WuDunn;
Half the Sky: Turning Oppression Into Opportunity for Women Worldwide

“It is impossible to realize our goals
while discriminating against half the human race.
As study after study has taught us, there
is no tool for development more effective
than the empowerment of women.”

–Kofi Annan, The UN Secretary General, 2006
